France’s largest ornamental stone quarry is opening its doors to the public for a special event.
On the programme: a unique, free experience open to all, featuring guided tours, machinery demonstrations and an insight into stone extraction and processing techniques.
We invite you on an immersive tour into the heart of France’s largest marble quarry and its 20,000 m² processing plant, dedicated to marble for building and urban landscaping. After being welcomed at the site entrance, you will be taken by vehicle to the heart of the quarry to explore the deposit and see how the blocks are extracted. You will then follow a signposted route through the factory to discover the processing stages (primary sawing, cutting, etc.)
