Mi-Carême de Chagny

The Mi-Carême committee invites you to Chagny for two weekends of festivities, with float and brass band parades on Sunday afternoons 15 and 22 March, on the theme of "Journey through Time".
Musical entertainment at the market on Sunday mornings, children's carnival, mid-Lent show and funfair during the 2 weeks - not to be missed!

14 to 22 March 2026: Funfair, Place Marcel Charollais

Saturday 14th March 2026
8.30pm: Opening of the festivities
Light parade of floats and music
Lantern parade
Capture of Bambalou
Musical parade and finale

Sunday 15 March 2026
Morning: Musical entertainment at the market
3.00 pm: Grand parade "Journey through time
Parade of floats and music
Musical finale in front of the Town Hall

Saturday 21st March 2026
2.30pm: Children's Cavalcade, all dressed up! Parents and children! Meet in front of the Maison du Peuple (indoors in case of bad weather), confetti fights, farandoles and Bambalou's sentence... Followed by a snack.
