Laurent Guyot, a historian and associate professor of history and geography, is a recognised expert on the history of the former leprosarium in Meursault (also known as the Maison-Dieu).
Following the building’s complete restoration, he regularly gives talks there, notably this year as part of the European Heritage Days.
He details the architectural and social evolution of the site, which holds personal significance for him as his own grandparents once lived there.
