Inertia
Underclouds Company and Ulysse Lacoste
Having brought the 2023–2024 season to a brilliant close in the Conservatoire’s courtyard, the Underclouds Company is back with the show *Inertia*, in a version adapted for an indoor venue.
On a large spinning top designed by the sculptor Ulysse Lacoste, two tightrope walkers, Chloé Moura and Mathieu Hibon, move in mirror image along a path marked by balance and imbalance, seeking in turn movement or inertia, rotation or a moment of suspension.
At the heart of the metal structure with which they dance, the acrobatic duo weaves a story through space, using gravity as their guide.
In this dialogue, steeped in geometric and circus-inspired play, where poetry and the laws of physics merge, every member of the audience will find something to satisfy their taste for science, spectacle or simply daydreaming.
with Chloé Moura, Mathieu Hibon, sculpture by Ulysse Lacoste, external perspective by Vassil Tasevski, musical composition by Valentin Mussou, soundscape & spatialisation of sound by Sylvain Nouguier, costume design by Delphine Delavallade
