Descripción
What wine lover hasn’t dreamt, at least once, of stepping into the winemaker’s shoes to finally uncover all the secrets of this divine drink?
The grape harvest represents nearly a year’s work in the vineyards, where it all begins. Months spent pruning, tying up, training, tilling and tending. Months spent scanning the sky, hoping for rain or sunshine, or fearing frost and storms.
The grape harvest is about bringing in the fruits of those past months’ labour, so who better than Jean-Luc, our vineyard manager, to tell you about this 2026 vintage.
But before that,
Join the Château de la Crée team for our:
2026 Grape Harvest Experience
Saturday 22 August 2026 from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm.
Meet at 9.00 am at Château de la Crée for coffee and a croissant. We’ll then head out to the vineyard plot where the harvest is underway.
After receiving the necessary instructions and information, pruning shears in hand, you’ll take part in harvesting the grapes. Of course, we’ll be with you throughout the experience to answer any questions you may have.
Before heading to the château, we’ll first stop by the estate’s winery to discuss the winemaking process.
Later in the morning, we’ll taste the estate’s wines in the vineyard, including a ‘preview’ of a few cuvées from the 2023 vintage.
The morning will conclude with a winegrower’s lunch in the Château’s vineyard.
You can book your experience for €75 per person (including VAT)
(lunch and tasting included).
Places are very limited, so book your places quickly.
