20th Beaune Blues Boogie Festival
To celebrate 20 years of musical encounters, the Beaune Blues Boogie Festival bridges the gap between tradition and modernity by bringing together long-standing artists and a new generation of musicians.
The Crazy Hot Boogie Night event brings together some of the biggest names for a veritable marathon of piano solos and duets, accompanied by high-energy rhythm sections.
American Henri Herbert, a world-renowned figure in boogie and blues and an undisputed showman, will join forces with Katharina Alber, an Austrian artist whose piano playing and singing combine energy and a zest for life. Ragtime, Harlem Stride piano and boogie-woogie, reimagined by Sébastien Troendlé, an exceptional French pianist, will sit alongside the spirit of swing and classic jazz, breathed new life into by the band Les Silkys.
Jean-Pierre Bertrand, pianist and organiser of the BBB Festival, will join Les Silkys to showcase his sizzling swing, before a final jam session bringing all the artists together on stage. A unique evening where improvisation and collective energy will have the audience dancing until the early hours!
