Nicknamed the diva of soul, Sandra Nkaké is a composer, singer and producer. She has an exceptional, powerful and singular voice that unfolds on stage with a magnitude and magnetism that the audience receives as a gift. A committed feminist artist, Sandra Nkaké wrote and composed the songs for her project [ELLES] with women.
Her trio [ELLES] with Paul Colomb (cello) and Jî Drû (flute) is a moment of sensitive, organic, quasi-acoustic music. In a world that is increasingly violent and fast-paced, and driven by technology, [ELLES] offers a musical ode to gentleness, slowness and kindness. Let yourself be carried away!
Ben Beck will open the evening with a rich and varied musical universe. He is a pianist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and beat-maker. A rather eclectic artist. He has devoted his life to learning music in all its forms.
A specialist in improvisation. He plays both solo piano and with his jazz quartet, the 'CødaQuartet' (saxophone, double bass, drums and piano), performing a number of standards as well as original creations. From boogie-woogie to swing and bossa nova.
At the same time, he is developing a solo project under his stage name 'Jüma', with a host of instruments, a looper and a beat-machine sequencer. A mix of Balkan influences, North African blues and electronic music.
An avid sound recordist and computer-assisted musician, he also helps artists create their own work. In particular, he takes part in the Émergence competition in Beaune. He took part in this competition in 2024, and continues to maintain close links with it.
He also gives jazz and classical piano lessons for beginners and advanced players in Beaune.
