Descripción
On Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May, the winegrowers of Savigny-lès-Beaune will be opening the doors of their cellars for you to (re)discover their wines. 19 wineries will welcome you to the village for these two days of festivities, where music and entertainment will accompany you.
On the programme:
- Tastings and meetings with the winemakers
- Atmosphere in the streets and cellars
- Little train to take you around the village
In the heart of the village, the Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune invites you to enjoy a unique experience combining wine and heritage.
The château houses impressive collections assembled by Michel PONT (1932-2021), a winegrower and mechanics enthusiast: fighter planes, Abarth racing cars, vintage motorbikes, models, winegrowing tractors, fire engines, etc.
To coincide with "Bienvenue à Savigny", take advantage of special rates for visits to the château, museums and park: €12 per person (instead of €14).
Les Caves de l'Orangerie, the château's family wine estate, cultivates 10.5 hectares of vines in Auxey-Duresses, Beaune, Meursault, Monthelie, Pommard, Savigny-lès-Beaune and Volnay. During the open cellars weekend, a selection of 4 appellations will be on offer for tasting:
Pernand-Vergelesses "Les Combottes" 2024
Savigny-lès-Beaune 2024
Monthelie 1er Cru 2023
Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru "Les Vergelesses" 2024
All the conditions are in place for a great weekend with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you soon in the heart of our wonderful village!
