The Maison Prosper Maufoux owns a 9-hectare vineyard in the mythical terroirs of the Côte de Beaune, around its Château in Saint-Aubin. The Clos du Château, classified in the Saint-Aubin Premier Cru appellation, and the adjoining plots of the estate, constitute an area of excellent terroirs, producing exceptional wines: Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru, Meursault 1er Cru, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru and Saint-Aubin 1er Cru. The House vinifies its great Burgundy wines in a demanding sustainable viticulture approach, certified HVE 3 (High Environmental Value). The estate acts for the biodiversity of species through a strategy of reasoned protection and economical management of resources.

Prosper Maufoux contributes to the image of excellence of Burgundy wines by producing racy and elegant wines from the best "Climats" of Burgundy in Chablis, Côte de Beaune, Côte de Nuits, Côte Châlonnaise and in the Mâconnais. The "Grands Classiques" of the Maison Prosper Maufoux are fruity and subtly tense while the "Vins Rares" are complex, balanced and expressive.
