THE EXPERIENCE

Historical presentation of the Château de la Crée founded in 1431 on the lands of Nicolas Rolin (Chancellor to the Duke of Burgundy) and the cultural wealth of the village of Santenay (Gallo-Roman remains, Monasteries, Montagne des Trois Croix...).

We will then visit our 1.5-hectare vineyard in Santenay - Clos du Château, planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Observing the landscape around us will perfectly illustrate the classification of Burgundy appellations and the importance of Terroir.

We'll look at the specific features of the Santenay appellation and Château de la Crée, not forgetting how to tend the vines.

Then it's time to descend into our 15th-century vaulted cellars. Here, you'll be able to enjoy 5 of the estate's wines during a guided, interactive tasting session.

LA CRÉE PICNIC

Before or after your experience... In the heart of nature, enjoy the space and tranquillity of the Château grounds. A moment of relaxation and conviviality with family and friends awaits you.

In your picnic basket you'll find a cold dish from the market, a cheese and a dessert.
Your picnic will be prepared using fresh, seasonal and local produce.

A selection of wines will be on sale to complement your meal.

A junior picnic for children up to 12 years of age is also available (to be booked separately, please contact us).
