Château Philippe le Hardi is a legendary building that bears witness to 2,000 years of Burgundy's winegrowing history. It was owned by Philippe le Hardi (1342-1404), Duke of Burgundy.
Today, this great Burgundy estate boasts 98 hectares of vines on prestigious terroirs in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise.
Nearly 100 parcels of vines, from which some fifty different wines are produced, are now vinified in the estate's cellars, producing a remarkable diversity of wines.
Since 2004, the estate has been certified Terra Vitis and since 2015, High Environmental Value (HVE). In 2021, the estate began its organic conversion.
Every visit to our Santenay stronghold and every tasting of our wines is an intense, lively experience.
