Jean Girard began growing vines in Savigny-lès-Beaune some five centuries ago. Seven generations later, Jean-Jacques Girard created his own estate to continue the family tradition. In 2008, his son Vincent joined him and they now have 17 hectares under vine. The vines are worked with deep respect of the soil and the environment, and vinification combines traditional expertise with new technologies.
